The Godhead pt. 6

Just because the knowledge of the Son of God is a mystery doesn't mean that it can't be understood. The apostles knew the mystery and tried to explain it to the Church. This is why scripture says without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness. This is why Jesus said that the Son would reveal the Father. This is why Jesus told the apostles that he spoke in parables. This is why Jesus said that his sheep know his voice and a stranger they will not follow (talking about his chosen). This is why the scripture says how can they hear without a preacher and how can he preach unless he be sent (apostles are sent ones). This is why the scripture says the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God (the knowledge of the Son)(full of grace and truth). When the Church embraces the office of the apostle, we can come into the knowledge of the Son of God. The scripture says that when we have the Son we also have the Father. This is why the scripture says the Son was the express image of the Father (they were of the same essence). God became a man in turn making him a Son, so that we can have communion with God just like Adam had in the garden. This is why the scripture calls Christ the mediator between God and man, because God became a man (Son) to give us back our communion with God. When Jesus asked the rich young ruler "why call me good for there is none good but God, he was testing him to see if he heard the voice of God, if he was his sheep. The Church needs to embrace the office of the apostle in order to come into the unity of the faith.
