the Bible says Jesus was the Son of God through the Spirit of holiness. This is why it says Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but being found in the fashion of a man, he humbled himself. The Bible also says God is not a man. This is why Jesus was called the Son of God, because God in flesh equals sonship, because the Spirit of God is what makes us sons and daughters of God and the reason we have the Spirit is because Jesus died and rose and gave gifts to men as he ascended. Jesus's life, death and resurrection gave humanity their sonship back.
