Hebrews 10:20 lets us know that the veil that separated the holy place from the holy of holies represented the flesh of Jesus, but we see in the gospel that once Jesus gave up the ghost and died, the veil was torn, meaning nothing separates the holy place from the holy of holies anymore. This lets us know that Jesus is the Father. The Father stood in the gap by becoming a Son, which was the flesh, so that we, the adopted sons, could be able to have an audience with the Father. Jesus isn't the Son anymore, but he's now in his role as the Father, this is why apostle Paul said that he nor the other apostles and saints didn't know Jesus according to the flesh anymore. This was because Jesus was no longer in the flesh, so he was no longer in the place of the Son, but in the place of the Father.
