The glory of God manifested in a number of ways in the Bible, namely: light, smoke, clouds, fire and the Son. Before Christ was born, God manifested himself as light, smoke, clouds and fire mainly. The birth of Christ represented the 8th day of creation when God created the flesh of humans, a new thing, a new beginning. Christ was the human manifestation of God, this is why apostle Paul said the glory of God is Christ, because Christ was the perfect human, the firstborn, the excellency of the Father's strength, he is the only begotten Son, begotten meaning that he came straight from God, all other sons are adopted into the kingdom through the only begotten Son. Only begotten because he was the only Son whose Spirit was all God.
-in Revelation "and his name is the Word of God"
-in John "in the beginning was the Word (Jesus)
-in Genesis "and God said" (the Word)(voice)
-God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself
-God purchased us with his own blood
-All things were made by him
They heard the voice of God walking...the Word of God is Jesus, so they heard Jesus walking. Adam and Eve had a relationship with Jesus before the fall. Since God purchased us with his blood it makes sense when it says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself. Jesus is God, Christ was the Son because Christ was the flesh. This is why Jesus could say I'm in the Father and the Father is in me and how apostle Paul could call us the Body of Christ. We are in Christ just as Christ was in the Father. Revelation says that God and the Lamb are the temple. It makes the distinction between God and the Lamb because the Lamb isn't God, but the Son, the flesh, God in Christ. The Son was the fleshly manifestation of the invisible God. Eden means the atmosphere, presence, paradise of God, so Adam and Eve were in the glory of God as we see in Exodus, was a cloud of darkness and thick darkness, which lets us know why they didn't know they were naked, because they were engulfed in God. Again, it says "and darkness covered the deep". In Exodus, we see that by day the darkness and thick darkness glory cloud guided the children of Israel and at night fire guided them, and I believe it was the same way with Adam and Eve before the fall, because apostle Paul said that God is a consuming fire, so before God placed the Sun in its place, the light when God said let there be light was his glory, this is why Revelation says that God and the Lamb provide the light and there's no need of the Sun
