When Peter walked on water and started to sink, Jesus said why did you doubt me, ye of little faith. Looking at Jesus's response, we see that when you are fighting temptation, you're not doing it with your own strength, you're fighting with the grace of God, the strength of God, so we must have faith in God's strength and speak his word against the Devil with confidence in that word. If it's a rhema word from God that you're speaking and the Devil questions that word, tell him "God is not a man that he should lie, have he not said it and shall he perform it", tell him "his word doesn't return void". Again, meditate on the word when you're not being tempted, release all your objections to the word and submit to it, so when you speak the word to the Devil, you will be able to speak it with faith
