It's not seed, time and harvest, it's seedtime and harvest. Seedtime is a process and when you are waiting for the harvest, the seed is germinating because of the gravitropic and phototropic nature of the process. Just because it's taking time for the harvest doesn't mean that's another process, the seed is still in the seeding process. Seedtime takes place all the way up until harvest time. When the seed is growing, it's still a part of seedtime. Seedtime is a season and seasons are long, not short. God didn't say sowing, time and harvest, he said seedtime and harvest. Sowing is part of the seeding process. Seeding is a process and it takes time because it encompasses a lot of things. Seedtime is a season and harvest is a season. There are only two seasons the Bible talked about in that verse seedtime and harvest. Time is not a separate session than seeding. Genesis 8:22 "seedtime"…Exodus 34:21 "earing time"…Genesis 45:6 "earing and harvest"…James 5:7 "long patience"…Earing time is a part of seedtime. Seedtime consists of planting and earing. The gestation time is still part of the seedtime, and the waiting period is part of the seedtime. The Bible says seedtime, there's not 3 divisions, there's only 2 divisions: seedtime and harvest, time is not a separate division, but time is a part of the division of the seeding process. As James says, the long patience is part of the seedtime or seeding process and the latter rain and former rain is part of the harvest.
