Salvation

It's not about our performance with God, it's about our obedience to the leading of the Holy Ghost and the Bible. This is why the Bible says that they which are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. The Spirit of Jesus inside of us gives us the ability to live Holy, we just have to yield to the Spirit's leading. God said that the way he works now as far as Salvation is that he has written his laws on our hearts (so that we will lean towards righteousness, this is why apostle Paul said that after we have struggled awhile, he will perfect us and establish us. Our trials and tribulations lead us closer to God).  The new covenant is better than the old covenant because with Jesus's Spirit in us, we have the ability to live Holy. The old covenant provided forgiveness, but no regeneration, but the new covenant provides forgiveness plus regeneration because the perfectness of Jesus is transforming our lives to being able to be perfect. Who defines perfect, but God. I don't care if people don't think I'm perfect, as long as God says it's possible to be perfect through his Spirit, I believe him, I believe God's report. It's about the performance of Jesus working in us making us perfect.
