Christians, if you struggle with sin, the Bible says "submit to God,  resist the devil and he shall flee", but you have to realize that he only flees for a season, he's going to return again to tempt you again, so you need to submit that sinful desire to God and keep casting your cares about that sin on God day and night until he finally takes that sinful desire away from you. Ask him to take away that desire to sin/that bent overness/that crookedness away from you when you wake up, throughout the day and before you go to sleep, everyday until he finally takes it away from you. When he takes the desire to commit that sin away from you, the Devil won't have any place in you to be able to tempt you. The trials and tribulation we go through that the Devil brings our way, God allows it in order to prefect holiness in us, he wants us to stop desiring to sin and choose him, he allows it, so our morals will be perfected, we will either draw closer to God or draw away from God because of our trials and tribulation, this is why the scripture tells us not to get weary in well doing for we will reap if we faint not. We have to submit to God, which by doing we are uniting with God which is how we wait on God because we are putting our trust in him. It doesn't have to take our entire life to overcome sin if we continue seeking God until he sets us free.
