In the past, I've said that God even covers curse words. I wasn't saying it's okay to curse. I was saying that the blood of Jesus even covers the sin of cursing. This also implies that when Jesus forgives you of cursing, that you no longer curse anymore. The word of God says: stay away from vain and profane babbling; it says: don't profane God's name; it says to separate the holy from the profane. Profane means Secular, it means not sacred. We are the Temples of God, we are set apart from Secular things to Holy things. We are sacred to God and our speech should be sacred also if we claim to be Christians. Everything we do should be aimed at pleasing God. The Bible says that whatever we do in word or deed do heartedly unto God. We must not make God look Secular, whether that's through our actions or speech, if we claim to be people of God. We represent God on earth and God is Holy (set apart, sacred), so we must also be those things and strive to be those things so we can better represent him to humanity.
