Agape (Sacrifice)

The reason apostle Paul said to present our bodies as living sacrifices is because sacrificial love is the type of love God wants from us. Agape love is sacrificial love. This is why Jesus tells us to be perfect even as God is perfect. God loved us so much that he sacrificed himself through Christ and he wants us to live sacrificial lives. This is also why Jesus said "not my will, but let thy will be done".
